Eric and Cathy have been a foundational part of my family and our farm, having vitality and being able to step out of mainstream health and veterinary care systems.

This testimonial is about our bitch and her puppies. Holly has always struggled with her cycles, and we have wanted to breed from her. She had a plan some time ago, and we had no success with her joining. We joined her again in her next cycle, and we had a win. Holly was on a plan during her pregnancy. On the last day of July (2025), I took her to the vet because something was not right. The puppy’s heart rate was slow, and upon examination, there was green mucus dripping from her bottom. As her puppies were due on this day, we decided it was best to operate.

Two of the puppies were dead, and one was toxic, slimy and green. The vet was quite astounded that others were still alive, and the other was stuck somewhere in a canal. Six puppies remaining.

As soon as I left Holly with the vet, I rang Eric, and they began treatment. I had been treating Holly with the basics throughout her pregnancy and on the morning of.

She did relapse a little when she came out of surgery and had to go back on oxygen. She travelled home, weak and dazed and home treatment began.

We are now on Day 3, and they are doing well. Mom is looking better, but I am still concerned as she is not very hungry and very fussy. There is a lot of hand-feeding and spraying of remedies.

I wanted to write this as there are so many aspects to how these remedies are used in this situation. From grief, to infection, dehydration, poisoning, travel sickness, shock, and fever and these are just the basics. With the healing plan, they treat the priorities at a much deeper level. 

Holly was travelling okay before her final days of labour, and it was incredible how she fell to a dangerous low from all the stress. With my home kit of supportive remedies and the plan, I pray that Holly and her puppies thrive once again and meet their potential as working dogs.
